Skoda Kodiaq Petrol BS6 Summary

 

 

 

  1. Skoda Auto India will be launching the petrol powered Kodiaq in the country later this year. The model, which was previously available only with a diesel engine, was discontinued after the BS6 emission norms came into effect from 1 April. 

  2. Under the hood of the Skoda Kodiaq petrol will be a 2.0-litre TSI engine that produces 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. This is the same engine that powers the BS6 Skoda Superb. Transmission duties will be handled by a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. Also on offer will be a 4x4 system. 

  3. While Skoda has not revealed the features of the Kodiaq petrol, we expect the model to be offered with the same kit that was offered in the outgoing variants that included Style, Scout and L&K. Upon launch, the Skoda Kodiaq petrol will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace.
